Amanda's Transformation

 

Personal training client transformation!

In Amanda's words.....

2 months in and I'm already 2 stones down, 5 inches lost on both my waist and my hip measurements,

I can't believe the progress I've made in such a short time, both in terms of weight loss and in terms of an improvement in my overall fitness.

Before I started with Joe I wouldn't have been able to run to the bottom of my street, now I can run a 10 minute mile. Before I had zero upper body strength, and now I can do push ups (well, at least a few). I see progress every single week.

I had tried various diets before and had joined the local gym, but nothing seemed to work for more than a few weeks. So, how did I make it happen this time? In short, I do everything Joe suggests. In terms of eating and exercising, Joe is my expert guidance and I take everything he says on board. Having a personal trainer isn't a "miracle cure" for being overweight and unfit. YOU need to make the effort. Why hire someone to give you the benefit of their expertise and then not follow their suggestions and guidance?

Working with Joe is much more about weight loss for me now, it's about feeling better both physically and mentally. When I first started my programme with Joe I was off work with severe anxiety, he didn't know about this until now. Working with him has helped improve my mental health and has helped me become more focussed.

I really enjoy working with Joe, he takes the time each week to ask how the previous week has gone, and to hear about any progress in fitness and to find out about any change in weight. But to him (and now to me) it's not just about the number on the scales. It's about my physical health, fitness and overall wellbeing. My only regret is that I didn't discover the benefits of a personal trainer sooner.
